Buenos Aires, April 2 (NA) – The former Minister of National Planning, Julio De Vido, was urgently transferred from the Ezeiza prison, where he is serving a sentence for the Once tragedy, to a healthcare center in the area due to a chest ailment.

According to Noticias Argentinas agency, due to "a strong and prolonged arrhythmia," as confirmed by his wife, Lali Minnicelli, he had to be assisted and referred by doctors from the Federal Penitentiary Service to the Ezeiza Interzonal Hospital.

The episode occurred this Wednesday when, around nine in the morning, he began experiencing chest pain and only arrived at the hospital at 6 p.m., where he remains and is undergoing tests.

"My hug to comrade Julio De Vido and wish for a speedy recovery," Larroque began to write, going on to say: "The situation Julio is going through today is the result of the unjust detention to which he is subjected, and which is totally incompatible with the medical treatment he must receive due to his chronic illness and age".

The situation not only generated concern within his family and friends but also in the political sphere. In this regard, the head of the Ministry of Community Development of the province of Buenos Aires, Andrés "El Cuervo" Larroque, sent a greeting via social networks.
